And so it began. Last week, shocking revelations in the first letter uncovered in The Typewriter Trials. If you did not read it there is still time for your recap here.
Now it is time to get a letter knife and slit open the next letter...
Albert
I trust you received my postcard? I posted it several weeks ago now but I do not know how reliable the postal service is and whilst it may seem insecure, in this day and age I feel the most insecure form of communication is the modern medium of technology.
I spent four days in Dubai and then travelled without rest to the Middle East. It was there that I made
contact with Marconi, the source of information you once told me about. I didn't think that those music lessons my mother made me attend as a child would ever pay off by I was wrong. Marconi is something of a proficient musician who tends to like his piano as much as his drink. Anyone who can hold his liqueur longer than he or jam with him in whatever style he picks is someone he tends to trust a little to easily. This paid off. In just a matter of days he told me about Jerome Abwaska, an 'information dealer' who is known for his connections with firms including Tidy Box Inc.
Finding Jerome was a lead pipe cinch because of his trademark black hat and finally I was able to get information on who was behind the killing of Mary-Jo. I know you told me not to get involved and leave this to others because of how close to home this could hit me emotionally, but you need to know I will not stop until I find what is going on here.
The information though is something I found desperately impossible to believe. Once I was able to locate and corner Jerome he talked fast as I flashed a fist full of Benjamin's under his nose. Albert, I do not know how to process this information but it seems that Tidy Box Inc were not responsible for my wife's murder. The person who paid and ordered Elgar Erwitt to kill her was none other than Rittenborg - her father.
I am going to follow a lead of where Elgar Erwitt is hiding. I will not write you my tip off because I cannot afford for the police to reach him before I do. A chance of revenge has never sounded so sweet to my ears.
Take care
Jack
PS. On a lighter note, enclosed is a photo of a cat which will be arriving by courier soon. I saw it in a pet store and I remembered that your little grand daughter lost her cat a couple of days before I left. This is an absolute ringer for it so hopefully she will like it!

well done!
