The Final Front Ear

Well, all that talk of new servers, new beginnings and new direction seem to have rung true.  They are all up and running smoothly, now we have the huge task of importing and formating!  But we DO have one less bill to worry about, which is a good thing! Heh! :)

This is the end of the current Project Bowl incarnation (goodbye Typepad, it was fun all these years with our on/off affair) but the end of a chapter doesn't mean the end of a book!  Far from it!

I can now be found blogging here and if you drop the stigmata from the url you will soon be able to access other PB bloggers too!  If any other blogger-wannabes want to become PB Bloggers then just let me know and I will set you up!  Le Portal has also relocated and is here.  If you haven't yet - go sign up!  News of the album's release will be detailed here!  Not long to go now folks! :)

Silent as the Blog

Heh. For those who are regular to Le Portal (and if not, why not?) you will know we are undergoing some major changes at present with server up-grades and wonderful things like that. The same is happening with the blogs because we just got our hands on some kickass bandwidth and space! Sweet! :) Just it takes time to re-write the programming and for propogation to take place... improvements should start to be visible in the next 24 hours or so with a bit of luck! :) Update: The bg image has disappeared because I'm an idiot and misplaced it... duh! Not connected to that server at the moment to re-upload it. Bloink!

I am starting to worry that The Wizard has something to do with the spam that I get.  For the second week in a row he gets the closest result with his guess of 97 and therefore wins.  It happens to be his birthday (note: expect to find something in the snail mail sir) so it is a special winning image for him this week.

The Hot Dog Goes On

This week saw the release of that movie we all groan at when we see any trailers for it, Titanic.  Love it or hate it it is a classic and is stacked with so much history and emotion.  But on this new Special Edition release there is a wealth DVD special bonus features.

A documentary entitled "Breaking New Ground" about the discovery of the real ship.  Except, surely, it should be entitled "Breaking New Waters" as it sunk and wasn't buried in concrete.

But, more amusing than that, it also includes an alternative ending.

Little Life and Death

This is the question which has been posed to the Men's Club this week.  After pondering it for the last few hours (again, totally forgot it was Thursday, but I'm useless like that) I have decided I cannot effectively give an answer to this in the style and manner which I usually find I can post on these weekly topics.

Is anyone having probs accessing the Project Bowl blogs?  Tilesey just emailed me and he seems to be having some problems over there in England.  Everything looks fine and dandy from this end but the message he keeps getting is slightly alarming.  Hopefully it will resolve swiftly.  I sent a ticket help request to those lovely people at TypePad *waves* so fingers crossed it gets resolves asap.

In other news, we have been making tweaks over at Le Portal.  If you haven't signed up I totally recommend it - it's free and you get to meet a great bunch of people too.  Currently, in one of the hidden forums there, members can vote for Silk's new avatar which means it must be nearing Halloween.  Not that these two things are related,  but I just thought I'd point it out.  Bygones.
